Decatur Sheds, Barns & Custom Solutions!
If you've driven around the square lately looking at that pink granite courthouse thinking "I really need to clean out my garage," we've got you covered. SE Yard Solutions - we're the guys who build sheds right on your property in Decatur and all around Wise County.
Here's the deal: Decatur's growing. We've got about 7,000 people now, and seems like every week there's another house going up between here and Boyd. That old house you bought near downtown with the one-car garage? Yeah, it wasn't built for two cars, a riding mower, your kids' bikes, and all that camping gear you bought for trips to the LBJ Grasslands. My name's Edwin, and I run SE Yard Solutions out of Paradise (yeah, I know it's a great name for a town). We've been building sheds since 2015 and Decatur keeps us busier than anywhere else in Wise County. Makes sense - you're the county seat, you've got all those nice neighborhoods off Thompson Street plus all the folks with land out toward Alvord and Chico who need real storage.
Why Decatur Folks Need Good Sheds
Let me tell you something - living in Decatur isn't like living in Fort Worth. Out here, people actually use their property. You've got horses, you've got trailers, you've got that project truck that's been sitting there since the last swap meet in February. And where are you supposed to put all that?
The Grasslands Problem (and it's a good one)
If you're one of those people who spends weekends up at the LBJ Grasslands - and I know there's a bunch of you - you know what I'm talking about. Horse trailers, saddles, tack, camping gear, maybe an ATV or two even though they technically don't allow them up there. All that stuff ends up scattered around your property looking like a yard sale that never ends.
And don't even get me started on the horse people. You board at one of the places out on 51? Great. But you still need somewhere to store all that equipment at home. Feed, hay, saddles - that stuff adds up fast and it sure doesn't belong in your living room.
Then there's the weather. Remember that hail storm we had last spring? I replaced three customers' shed roofs after that - all the cheap metal ones they bought from those big box stores. Meanwhile, the sheds we built five years ago? Not a dent. Because we actually use real materials and know how to build for North Texas weather.
Plus, if you live anywhere near downtown - maybe in one of those older houses near the square or out by the college - you know space is tight. These lots weren't designed for modern life where everyone has two cars, a boat, and enough outdoor furniture to host the entire Old Settlers Reunion.

We Build Decatur Proud & Texas Strong
We build all over Decatur and Wise County. Downtown near the courthouse square, out by the high school, those nice houses along Business 380, the neighborhoods behind Walmart - we've built sheds everywhere. Even did a big barn-style one for a guy out past the airport who collects vintage motorcycles.

One of my favorite builds was for this couple off FM 730 heading toward the Grasslands. They had horses and needed a shed but they also wanted it to look nice because it was visible from their kitchen window. We matched their house trim, added a couple windows, and now it looks like it's always been there. That's the difference between us and some prefab shed - we actually care what it looks like.
"Edwin and his crew built our shed in July - hottest week of the year. They showed up early, worked straight through and had it done in two days. Now I can actually park in my garage again instead of using it as a storage unit. Best money I've spent on the house." - Mike, lives Weatherford
